I heard that your a marathoner?

Absolutely! I've been a runner for over 30 years. One of my goals has been to complete a marathon in each of the 50 states, and so far, I've completed 22 states and 28 marathons.

That's a huge achievement, how do you prepare?

Normally it's a six month process, but after you've completed a few, your body tends to become better conditioned. For example, I am currently running twice a week for 2-3 hours, but I'm also filling in with kickboxing. I'm not currently training for a specific race at this moment, but this exercise routine keeps me very fit. What have been your favorite marathons?

My top three races are NYC, by all means tops, Chicago with 30k runners is my second, and then Detroit is my third. Actually I have fond memories from Detroit, because my kid's saw me finish, and also part of the course takes you into Canada.

How about your diet?

Honestly I'll eat anything. I don't really limit myself, but I do eat smaller meals six times a day. I used to overload on caffeine, through either coffee or power drinks, but I've cut way back, and it's helped. I'm not so edgy, and of course running not only helps me physically, but also mentally and spirtually. It helps keep me grounded.
